Dr Andrew Barraclough (m)

MBBS DRCOG MRCGP - graduated from medical school in 1981. Dr Barraclough moved to Dorset in 1983, and joined Alma Medical Centre in 1986. In 1991 he became a GP trainer and he mentors the registrar GPs at the practice. Dr Barraclough enjoys all aspects of General Practice, but his special clinical interests are Rheumatology and Joint Injections.

Dr Paula Barrett (f)

MBBS BSC DCH DRCOG MRCGP. Dr Barrett joined the Alma Medical Centre in 2002. She works closely with Southampton University in teaching medical students. Dr Barrett enjoys all aspects of General Practice, but her special clinical interests are Paediatrics and Gynaecology.

 

Dr Gavin Pereira (m)

BM DRCOG - graduated from the University of Southampton in 2001. Dr Pereira initially started at Alma as a GP trainee in 2005, before fully qualifying and joining as a salaried GP in 2006.
His special interests are GP education and, along with Dr Barrett, works closely with Southampton University teaching medical students.

 

Dr Heather Deacon (f)

BM MRCGP DFSRH DRCOG - graduated from Southampton University in 2002. Dr Deacon completed her GP training in Bournemouth and Poole in 2007, and joined the Alma Medical Centre as a Salaried GP in 2014.

MBBS, MRCPCH, MRCGP

Dr Matthew Adcock (m)

BSC BM MRCGP - graduated from Southampton University in 2010. In 2014, Dr Adcock started his GP training here at the Alma Medical Centre, and once he completed in 2016, he was offered a Salaried GP position right away.

Dr Zara Mufti (f)

MBchB MRCGP - graduated from Liverpool University in 2008.
