We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.
To help us with this, we have set up a virtual patient group so that you can have your say. We will ask the members of this group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.
We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.

2014/2015 Action Plan Update
This year along with the patient group we looked at feedback from suggestions, complaints and the Friends and Family Test. We listened to our patients and are taking the following actions:
What you said:
We want to be able to book appointments well in advance
What we did:
We have recently invested in an electronic rota system which significantly decreases the time it takes to produce the doctor rota allowing appointments to be made available well in advance.
It is sometimes difficult to get through on the telephone
What we are doing:
We are currently looking into the feasibility of upgrading the telephone system and are liaising with telephone service providers to explore what options are available.
The post box at the front of the building is not secure
We have purchased a new secure post box with a narrow slot which will be fitted in the near future.
We would like evening appointments so we can come to the surgery outside of our commitments
What we did:
Although the practice provides evening appointments, it became apparent at the patient group meeting that not many people were aware of them. The practice is undertaking a campaign to raise awareness of "extended hours" appointments via email, poster and website to help improve access for those who prefer to attend outside of normal surgery hours.
